Dave Holmes is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and music tutor from the UK, specialising in Brazilian Bossa Nova and electronic music, also performing Samba percussion within the UK Samba community. Past groups he has performed with include: Toque Tambor, Nova Guarda, Ziriguidum and Taste of Brasil.

Dave obtained his BTec National Diploma in Popular Music and Sound Recording from Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology and followed this up with Foundation and Advanced Audio studies at the renowned London audio college, Alchemea.
In 2014 Dave released two well received Bossa Nova demo albums of covers called 'Born To Bossa'
Over the next couple of years these drew attention from around the globe. He has since played live on UK, Peruvian and Dutch radio, received glowing reviews from Jamaica to USA to Japan, and has regularly toured Europe.
This eventually led to being approached with projects such as the Andrea Amorim 2016 European Tour, which he produced, and on which he played guitar. This was followed by further tours and gigs with Andrea in Brazil and Europe. In 2017 Dave drove with Andrea from UK, through to France and Spain and into Gibraltar, followed by Morocco, Portugal and then back to the UK, with further gigs there in early 2018.
