Andrea Amorim - Electronic press pack - page 5
Quotes from Roberto Menescal:
“I first saw Andrea at a Music Festival that I went to in Garanhuns in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. Two acts were announced for the end of the festival; a known band called 'Paralamas do Sucesso', followed by a local singer, Andrea Amorim. I was curious to see a little of this singer who was brave enough to follow 'dos Paralamas do Sucesso'. Andrea came on stage with a lot of vigor and I commented on this to someone next to me.
A few days afterwards she contacted me and we set a date to meet in São Paulo. From there things happened naturally. I participated in a CD and DVD of hers and she ended up going to Miami to take part in an Annual Music Award. After that, there was an invitation to go to Japan and on the way back she asked if I'd like to make a CD with her. This became ‘Bossa de Alma Nova’, which led to many shows together at various venues in Brasil.

Andrea is a great artist who sings well in two opposing styles; Rock and MPB. We have become great friends, personally and artistically. Andrea returned to Garanhuns where she is based in the region, but often leaves when requested to take part in shows. I love this artist who has such solid character and strong personality.”
In these videos (in Portuguese) Roberto Menescal lent his support to Andrea's 2016 Tour of Europe and both he and his team speak highly of Andrea and her abilities.
